Walk, Scoot, or Bike to School

Why does driving hurt our kids?  Kids who are driven to school are put at a disadvantage when compared to their peers who walk, scoot or bike to school… The BENEFITS ARE DOCUMENTED: When you allow your children to get to school on their own power, instead of driving them: 

  • WALK/BIKE to SCHOOL MORE EFFECTIVE than breakfast AND lunch. 
  • Effect lasts up to FOUR HOURS that day! (that’s well past lunch!)
  • INCREASE in ability is equal to that of someone 1/2 A YEAR AHEAD.
